Yep, Seth Rogen's a Superhero

The rumors and discussions have been swirling around since 2007, but it was just made official: Seth Rogen will co-write and star in The Green Hornet. The film is officially greenlit.

The Hornet's a classic superhero who first appeared in a 1930s radio show and subsequently starred in 1940s film serials, a 1960s TV show, and numerous comic book series.

He looks like a superhero, right? Rogen stated a while ago that the flick doesn't follow the format of any other recent superhero movie, and that it plays more like an action movie. I'm guessing, since he's writing it with his Superbad writing partner Evan Goldberg, that there will be a few comedic elements as well.
