They're back! Looking exactly the same!

The boys from Entourage are back, currently hard at work filming, well, either the end of Season 4 or the beginning of Season 5. Last time the show was on, what we got was officially the "second half" of Season 3, followed by a one-week break, followed by the "first half" of Season 4. That's even more confusing than what they do over on South Park.

Anyway, well, I would spill some plot details, but my interest in the show is at dangerously low levels. Season 2: great TV. After that: wildly uneven. Plot lines were introduced and then dropped like they never existed (Turtle's cute girlfriend, anyone?) Billy Walsh is preposterously unlikable but got even more screen time, probably because he's based on one of the show's writers. Drama went from being a funny one-trick pony to completely insufferable (see: his conduct at Cannes or pretty much in any other episode).

I could go on and on, but the worst offense: the show bought into its own hype about being the male Sex and the City. It stopped crafting interesting plotlines and became all about catchphrases, "guy talk," how many times they could squeeze the phrase "I'm just f--king with you" into one television show, and nearly Joe Francis levels of sexism.

[End rant.]
