There's going to be a Facebook movie.

Yep. Aaron Sorkin (of West Wing, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, A Few Good Men, and Charlie Wilson's War fame) is in the early stages of writing a screenplay about the invention of Facebook.

Nope, it's not a fake -- the project is actually set up with producer Scott Rudin at Columbia Pictures.

Sorkin's a talented (though divisive) writer, which might help:

I figured a good first step in my preparation would be finding out what Facebook is, so I've started this page. (Actually it was started by my researcher, Ian Reichbach, because my grandmother has more Internet savvy than I do and she's been dead for 33 years.)

Great, so not only do you not have any idea what Facebook is, you're Internet illiterate. I'd really like to be there when Rudin pitched him the project.

Fun fact: Facebook's been getting more traffic than MySpace since April. Suck it, MySpace, I've always been in Facebook's camp.
