The Dark Knight to premiere with a Heath Ledger memoriam

Digital Spy reports that the New York premiere of The Dark Knight, on July 14th, will include a memoriam to late Joker portrayer Heath Ledger at the end of the film. Ledger's family will be in attendance.

While that's a one-time-only addition, not surprisingly, when the film is released to the public, there will be a dedication to Ledger in the credits.

The Joker was Ledger's last full film role. He'll also appear in Terry Gilliam's The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus; he wasn't finished filming the role when he died, and thus Colin Farrell, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp will all appear in the film as the same character as Ledger (somehow).
