There's been a lot of talk over the years of the Sports Illustrated "cover curse"; the belief that bad things happen to whoever has the misfortune of being pictured on the front of the popular sports magazine. But not enough experts are addressing one of the real dark spots in entertainment. It seems that the true nexus of evil forces operating in our world is actually centred on the feet of American Idol runners-up.
