Susan Boyle Loses

I haven't seen Britain's Got Talent and have never once heard Susan Boyle's voice, but after posting that article on Adam Lambert I guess I have to keep following it up with news of more reality talent competitions.

Boyle lost her show this week to the dance crew "Diversity" -- which, according to Entertainment Weekly, isn't that great. But then again, let's be real: Susan Boyle's a great singer who only got the attention she received because she doesn't look like every other female on television -- i.e. twenty-one and anorexic, or some kind of trashy bitch. So is her fame a boon to feminism, or the opposite? Discuss.
