So: hotter than Reese Witherspoon?

Nearly two years after Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon formerly separated, Phillippe has finally gone public with his relationship with Abbie Cornish.

According to the rumor mill, Cornish - whom Phillippe met while filming Stop-Loss - was the third party responsible for his break-up with Witherspoon in the first place. Phillippe denied allegations but was vague about what exactly he was denying; at the time, he told People magazine, "I'm not a perfect person, but I'm not guilty of a lot of the things I have been accused of. My priority is and always has been the health and safety of my family."

Anyway, now Witherspoon's off with Jake Gyllenhaal (unless that's already ended, it's hard to keep track), and Phillippe and Cornish appeared together at the 2008 Australian in Film Breakthrough Awards holding hands.
