Shawn Johnson's Stalker Arrested, Pleads Not Guilty

Shawn JohnsonThe alleged stalker of Olympic winner and current Dancing with the Stars star Shawn Johnson was arrested on Tuesday after attempting to break into the set of ABC's show.

34-year-old Robert Michael O'Ryan, of Yullee, FL, apparently jumped the fence to get into the set and had a couple of illegal weapons -- along with love letters and Johnson memorabilia -- in his car. That night, he was booked for possession of a firearm, and the judge set bail at $35,000.

On Wednesday, the 17-year-old Johnson's mother filed a temporary restraining order against O'Ryan. On Thursday, he was officially charged with stalking -- a felony -- in addition to two misdemeanor counts of firearm possession. After pleading not guilty, bail was upped to $220,000. If convicted, he could face four years in prison.

Not creepy enough for you yet? Police reported that O'Ryan told them he was meant to have a child with Johnson, and that O'Ryan believes Johnson is "speaking to him personally through the television and via ESP and that he will be with her no matter what."

Prior to his arrest, O'Ryan lived in an R.V. camp for a year, where he was described as "a loner" and "just weird," with back problems stemming from a failed bid at joining the Olympic rowing team after graduating from the University of Florida -- which may have resulted in chronic depression.

Expect the inevitable Law & Order version to air before the end of the season.
