Rosie O'Donell vs. Bill O'Reilly

Another feud to add to the ongoing list of celebrity feuds Rosie is 'collecting' for her resume. Hah!. First it was Kelly Ripa, regarding Clay Aiken, although this issue is now water under the bridge, then the hilariously bizarre hair flipping action against Donald Trump, and the 'not' so controversial Paula Abdul/American Idol /Simon Cowell banter. I almost forgot the Chinese incident. To her credit, she apologized profusely on the show and on her blog. Now it seems Bill O'Reilly wants to be a part of the list by calling for Rosie's pink slip from the ABC network.

O'REILLY: The ratings are dropping, Bernie. Since January they dropped in both categories, 25-54 and in raw audience, down big.

So now what you get, Jane, is you have a corporate decision. The ratings are going down. Year to year they're up, a little. But they're going down the last three months because she is become increasingly irrational on the program. Anybody can see it.

So ABC's got to make a calculation, now. If they are going to say we're in it for the money and we don't care about the guy that called O'Reilly or any of the thousands of other Americans who have lost loved ones, we don't care about them, this sticks to ABC. Does it not?

I watched the day Rosie suggested we google the gulf of tonkin in regards to the recent 15 British sailors being on Iranian water story. She also opined about the 9/11 "conspiracy theories" that Elisabeth brought up. Things got heated between her and her co-host Elisabeth that day. When did it ever not?. They kept reassuring the public they love each other, they just disagree on politics. Disagree is an understatement. Sometimes I feel sorry for Elisabeth but then again, my views correlates with Rosie so too bad for her, heh.

The View ladies are on vacation right now therefore the show for this week are on reruns. Rosie is supposed to be vacationing in her Miami house,as she stated last Friday on the show. You can read her reactions at her official blog for now. I can't wait to hear her own words when The View comes back. Maybe the controversy will just be another brush in the shoulder - "let's move on to Paris Hilton" kind of story - , by then or maybe as O'Reilly wishes, she's fired(I hope not).

What do I think?, well with the exception of the Kelly Ripa 1-day feud, I Love Rosie. :)
