Paris Hilton Serves Her Sentence

After she was humiliated at the recently concluded MTV Movie Awards by the funny host Sarah Silverman(man that was priceless), she turned herself in to start serving her sentence. More on the MTV skit making fun of Paris. The fans really let Paris know how they felt about her judging by the applause and laughter after Sarah mentioned about her going to jail. And then the celebrity faces(Jack Nicholson was cracking up), and laughter from the venue when Sarah said her jail cell bar has been especially turned into that of a male genital. OH MY GAWD! When the camera focused on the 26-yr old heiress, she didn't look too happy. After the night, she turned herself in earlier that she was supposed to, to avoid all the paparazzis parked in front of the jail place. She also released a statement to TMZ.com stating :

"I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks, I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes."

Hilton added, "This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence."
