20th Century Fox greenlights a sequel to "Alien vs. Predator". No, really. Why do Hollywood studios find it necessary to beat franchises so far beyond death that they become parody? `I guess there's two trains of thought in Century City on this one: Choice A - straight-to-video; Choice B - script whereby the winner takes on the X-Men in 2009.

Jerry Lewis suffered a mild heart attack. As if the French needed another excuse to slack off work. Between this and the World Cup, I'm guessing the border guards will be gone until August. Should give a few more Muslim insurgents plenty of time to "settle in"....

In case you were worried, Daryl Hannah was finally taken down from that tree. This is the kind of stuff that happens after you turn 40 when you can't buy a movie gig. In other words, expect Jennifer Aniston to pull a similar stunt in seven years....

Speaking of which, El Britney has completed an interview with Matt Lauer for Dateline running Thursday. Oh goody. Apparently Kevin Federline is a mis-understood loving genius. Expect divorce papers within 60 days. I would have said 30 but this whole matter is so trailer trash that not even Oprah bothered to get the "scoop". Mind you, a lot of papparazzi take a breather for July 4, no?
