My New Favorite Show : Eli Stone

I have a new favorite show from ABC Network, besides Cashmere Mafia. Last night was the pilot episode of Eli Stone. A Lawyer who was just having a normal happy and successful life until one day he started hearing music. And the music turns out to be George Michael's Faith. George Michael even shows up in his "hallucinations". It was really fun watching Jonne Lee Miller aka Angelina Jolie's ex-husband. I had to point that out coz when he was a guest on The View the other day, he was quite a sport about the association. Back to the show, Eli Stone hears music and then he starts dancing which is quite fun to watch. It turns out the song Faith was playing when he lost his virginity. He was in the middle of an Autism lawsuit filed by none other than the girl he lost his virginity to. Eli Stone was defending the vaccine company but once he met the woman's kid, he decided to be on the plaintiff's side. It was a really confusing lawsuit with all the medical jargon thrown in the dialogue but I enjoyed it.

BTW, it turns out, his hallucinations were genetic. He got it from his Father. I know I'm not sounding all clear right now so I apologize. For years, he and his family thought his father was a scum bag. But Eli Stone grew up to be a better man than his father. When he started hearing music, he started seeing an acupuncture guy who was pretending to have a Chinese accent just it will look authentic but he's just like any immigrants here in America who can speak English with no trace of accent, except American of course. He thinks Eli Stone is a prophet. His "hallucinations" is a way from him to do good in this world. Anyway, Eli Stone has an aneurism that's inoperable. But that's ok. His life is still the same. A knock-out fiancee, a successful career especially since he won the case against his own firm, and a loving family behind him, Except this time, he's going to keep hearing music, seeing things and maybe even saving the world. My kind of show :)
