My Britney Spears BLACKOUT Review

A review? But it's not out yet. Well there are leaks out there but sorry to burst your bubbles, I listened to the whole album, LEGALLY! How? Well, my awesome satellite provider Direct TV somehow acquired an exclusive right to play the entire CD on the XM radio channel 20 on 20. All weekend I have been listening to Britney's new album. LOL. Well the DJ's have played it in interval. It was a good way to do it coz they couldn't possibly have an all day Britney thinggamajig now couln't they? TMZ pretty much have that covered..Hehe. Anyway, back to the album. It's awesome. Like seriously totally goosebumps awesome YA'LL. I have all of Britney's Albums and BLACKOUT is by far her best ever. When I say the best ever, I'm talking in terms of Britney's caliber.

The album is not musically lyrical like Alicia Keys or Norah Jones. Certainly not vocally amazing like say Christina Aguillera. Britney's new CD is for dancing. There are 5 prevalent themes in this album :

I can't decide which one is my favorite. The rhythm in each songs are catchy. The lyrics are truthful and somewhat ironic. The mix on each song are definitely remarkable. It will get your ass up and move. Then if you listen to some of the lyrics you might actually feel compassion towards her.

PIECES OF ME:

HOT AS ICE
"Cold as Fire Baby
This is Hot as Ice
If You've Ever
Been To Heaven
This is Twice As Nice.."

The song, "Why Should I Be Sad?", talks about how she sent someone to Las Vegas with "papers" and he turns out to be shady. We can all just assume who that guy is and what the "papers" are.

I give BLACKOUT 4.5 out of 5. I can't wait to get my own copy. Even though I've already heard the whole thing. Hehe :) .
