Madonna and Her Live Nation Inc Deal

Madonna decided to leave Warner Bros Records and signed up with Live Nation Inc not only as an artist but also their founding artist and a shareholder. Madonna felt it was time to move on with the time. Not to mention the unconfirmed deal of $120 million for over 10 years. Hah!

The deal encompasses all of Madonna's future music and music-related businesses, including the Madonna brand, new studio albums, touring, merchandising, fan club and Web site, DVDs, music-related television and film projects, and associated sponsorship agreements, the statement said.

This news is like Madonna 101. Not only is she an artist, a performer, she's also a good businesswoman. Her longevity to the core.
