Lindsay Lohan has a new movie?

georgia_rule_poster.jpgWith all the tabloid news on this young paparazzi magnet I think some of us, including myself have forgotten that the girl is an actress and she's actually a good one. She has worked with some of the most respected icons in Hollywood. Meryl Streep, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sharon Stone, just to name a few. Mean Girls was considered to be her breakthrough movie but I disagree because I consider Parent Trap as one of the classics :). We've seen and heard about her stints in rehab, her drunkard parties, alleged drug use, her denial on the eating disorder issue, fashion mishaps, on and off relationship with BFF Paris Hilton, guys she's currently dating or not, her car accidents, injuries, her relationship with her Dad , and her mother's refusal to smack the crap out of her when she's showing the whole world her private parts. Among other things. WHEWWW!

Now she has a new movie out called Georgia Rule. This time she's working with legendary Jane Fonda and Felicity Hoffman of Desperate Housewives.

Rebellious teenager Rachel (Lindsay Lohan) screams, swears, drinks and is - in a word-uncontrollable. With her latest car crash, Rachel has broken the final rule in mom Lilly's (Golden GlobeĀ® winner Felicity Huffman) San Francisco home. With nowhere else to take the impulsive and rambunctious girl, Lilly hauls her daughter to the one place she swore she'd never return...her own mother's Idaho farm. Matriarch Georgia (two-time OscarĀ® winner Jane Fonda) is not your typical sweet and doting grandmother. She lives her life by a number of unbreakable rules, demanding anyone who shares her home do the same - God comes first and hard work comes a very close second. Now saddled with raising the young woman, it will require each patient breath she takes to understand Rachel's fury.

Ironically, Lindsay Lohan's new comeback movie is the one she was working on that landed her in the hospital because of dehydration but then got chastised by one of the movie producers with a letter saying in no uncertain terms, "show up to work or you're fired". LOL.

Oh don't you just love Hollywood.
