Let's Hope Those 3 Million Weren't Tuning in for Sarah Chalke

The producers of How I Met Your Mother have asked Britney Spears back to the show after the episode she appeared on nabbed the show three million extra viewers.

(Her episode also featured the much cooler Chalke, the blonde chick from Scrubs.)

Considering how surprisingly well-received and almost low-key (by Britney Spears standards) her first appearance was, her return is not surprising. After the original episode aired, HIMYM cast member Neil Patrick Harris was quoted in an article saying he didn't want Spears to return, and later had to clarify to Entertainment Weekly that "Britney did a great job on the show. She really did. In fact, we are all hoping that she returns rather soon to reprise her role as Abby."
