Jon Voight joins 24

Jon Voight has joined the cast of 24 next season to play the main villain.

He'll appear in the two-hour TV movie which will serve as a prequel to Season 7 and airs on November 23rd and will be featured heavily in the second half of the season.

According to EW.com, this is Voight's first TV role since a three-episode stint on Gunsmoke forty years ago.

Let's just hope the seventh season is better than the sixth...
