J.LO and The "Worst-Kept-Hollywood-Secret" EVAH!

So Jennifer Lopez finally confirmed what has been dubbed as the "worst-kept-hollywood-secret" ever. Ok people, stop speculating cos Yes, she is PREGNANT. The woman has been wearing custom-made from her expensive designer maternity gowns. She's been showing her bump for months. I found it fascinating that people were wondering why J.LO wouldn't just confirm it, until now of course. I have 2 reasons, and the last one is more of a theory so stick around ;) .

First, when a woman gets pregnant, as I have, 3 times, the first trimester is a little tricky. She wants to make sure the baby is healthy and stays there for 9 months. If you guys get my drift. So a woman would rather wait to let everyone know of the big news in order not to jinx herself. In J.LO's case, let's face it, she's not getting any younger. Therefore, her pregnancy is probably something she and her Doctor has to monitor a lot. Besides, it's really none of our business whether she should announce her pregnancy or not. That's her prerogative. It's not like she really needed to proclaim it to the whole world anyway. It was too obvious.

Now that's my motherly-womanly reason.

Here's my cynical theory, and this is why I blog for HELL, hehe. J.LO just put out a new album. She was in the middle of a leg tour to promote it. As well as her husband who had duets with her. Prolonging the announcement means prolonging the attention and spotlight. It's like Publicity 101. And J.LO is one of the queens of publicity. The more she is talked about, the more money she makes. The more she keep evading the question of whether she is or she isn't, the more people are drawn to her presence hoping they'd be there when she finally feels the need to say she is. She finally said, "Yes we are expecting", in Miami, where her concert ended. Imagine that.

Think either way. Now, who else is "hiding" a bump? come forward now :).
