Jessica Biel in period dress

Nope, this isn't an article about a blood stain on a piece of clothing -- it's about pictures for Jessica Biel's new drama Easy Virtue. (Wow, that was a lame and tasteless joke.)

She appears above with Ben Barnes (seen earlier this summer as the title character in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian); the two play a recently-married couple who go to Britain to meet his parents, Kristen Scott Thomas and Colin Firth. The complication is that Biel's character, an American, was previously married and divorced, which apparently is bad news if you're a woman and it's 100 or so years ago.

Below is another shot, this one of Firth. The flick is supposed to come out in late 2008, in time for Oscar season.
