Jennifer Aniston: Still Talking about Angelina Jolie

Jennifer Aniston mentions this little tidbit about Angelina Jolie in one of those "exclusive and candid!" interviews with Vogue, timed to promote her upcoming movies Marley and Me and He's Just Not That Into You:

“There was stuff printed [in the press] that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that [Pitt and Jolie's relationship] was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.”

Basically she explains that Pitt and Jolie definitely were hooking up on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith before Aniston knew anything. At the time, Pitt and Jolie claimed that nothing inappropriate happened until after Pitt broke it off with Aniston. There were still rumors flying, though, so Pitt and Jolie decided the best way to combat bad press was to do a lot of humanitarian work in Africa and the Middle East.

Yeah, okay, I'm sure they actually care about those causes, too. But make no mistake: it was part of a concentrated effort to avoid making Pitt look like a cad and Jolie look like a homewrecker.

And yes, after two years, I'm still refusing to call them "Brangelina." Stupid name.
