It's Still a Lot of Fun

Deadline Hollywood Daily, which usually stays as far away from celebrity gossip as possible, broke the story a few days ago that Lindsay Lohan got fired from The Manson Girls, a movie about the girls who got wrapped up in Charles Manson's cult. The reason?

People associated with the movie told agents that Lohan quickly became more of a deficit than an asset when they discovered that they couldn’t find any name actresses who wanted to co-star with her. (And even some name actors...) So now Lindsay is off the pic -- but not for the excuses being circulated. Let this be a lesson... Behaving badly may get you on the covers of celebrity-obsessed mags and tabloids. But Hollywood won't tolerate your shit and shouldn't.

[Can I get an "Amen"? Amen!]

Even in the celebrity-obsessed world, it's highly satisfying to see someone actually taking a professional hit for being unprofessional. And yes, a little sad too, because she looked so sweet in The Parent Trap and Mean Girls turned out to be really good. But mostly, highly satisfying.
