How Superman (and others) should have ended

A lot of movies end poorly. It's pretty easy to write the protagonist into an impossible position, but the ability to reason out a compelling and logical solution seems to escape most writers. Even as a kid, one that bothered me was 1978's Superman. From the Man of Steel lamely being tricked into exposing himself to kryptonite, to his abilty to reverse time by causing the earth to spin backwards (wouldn't that really just cause a lot more damage?), it's nice to find a site that details how it should have actually gone.

The Superman clip does the best job of exposing bad writing, but some of the others, like Lord of the Rings, do an excellent job of postulating where the story may have lead had the heroes just taken the time to think things through.
