Hilary Duff in a 90210 spin-off?

Hilary Duff's about to appear in the John Cusack satire War, Inc. playing a Middle Eastern pop star named Yonica Babyyeah. So what's next? Well, a 90210 spin-off, naturally.

Seriously. An offer did go out to her to star in the planned spin-off from Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars) playing "Annie Mills," a theater-loving high school student who listens to a lot of emo. She could very well just turn it down and that would be that, but it's worth some heavy consideration. It wouldn't be a bad career move - she started out in TV and, after all, Material Girls and The Perfect Man didn't exactly light up the box office. (At last count, one half of one person saw those movies. In total.)
