Heidi and Spencer Elope

How long have Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag been famous? Because I'll be honest, I'm still not sure who they are. Okay, so they're on The Hills and they always pop up in random places. Like a monthly paparazzi shoot that's always obviously planned. Or the White House Correspondent's Dinner.

But I'm not trying to write one of those cute "They're famous for no reason" posts. Okay, maybe I am. But I'm being honest: I've never seen The Hills, never seen either of these people on a talk show, or anywhere for that matter, and yet I know their last names without looking them up and I know they're both super, super lame.

Imagine that -- people that don't even know you, know you suck. It's not that you could get through to them by saying "everyone actually hates you," though; they just like being famous, hated or not. Am I assessing them correctly?

Anyway, they just eloped (or maybe not officially). One more ugly girl and douchy-looking guy off the market.
