Grey's Anatomy Shocker!

Oh. My. God. Meredith is dead. She's dead. Never again will I do a post complaining about the whining of a character and their incessant negativity if the very next week said character is going to die.

And, I think she might just stay dead, since the preview for next week's show called it "the devastating conclusion". Um, devastating? Christina Yang crying and saying "TRY AGAIN"? Is this it for Ellen Pompeo? Is this is for Meredith? Holy crap. No, really? Holy crap.

In other news, nice cameos by Kyle Chandler and Denny Duquette (I told you not to read this post if you hadn't seen the ep) as people who died in the hospital, who told her she was dead. Also, very nice Alex Karev/Addison Montgomery moment when Alex said to Addy that he'd notice if she was missing. Also, several other very nice, rather touching Alex moments when he struggled to get in touch with his own humanity.

Very touching moment between McDreamy and McSteamy.

Shiver me timbers people, that totally made up for last week's hour o'boringness. I'll be gobsmacked if Meredith doesn't make a last minute recovery. Ohmigod. Shonda Rhimes, you are excellent.

I can't WAIT for next week. Yay!!!

Small note about Alex Karev: Justin Chambers (the actor who plays Alex) has FIVE CHILDREN. Let's pause for a moment here, shall we? Five kids? Yup, that just added to his inimitable hotness.

   On one web site it said there is a death last week (meredith) and there will be a death this week. One will stick. So I am thinking that it may not necessarily be meredith. The episode is called some kind of miracle after all.
