Ellen Pompeo Is Married

The star of Grey's Anatomy was true to her word from last year's PEOPLE interview, Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery got married last friday in a "secret" not so big event ceremony in NY City. Mayor Bloomberg was a witness while a city clerk officiated. The following day, the newlywed were seen at a Knicks game in Madison Square Garden.

See folks, getting married without paparazzis hovering high inside a helicopter can be done :)
