'Death of a President' details GW's passing

BopBush1_.jpgOne of the biggest draws at this year's Toronto International Film Festival owes some of its buzz to a little dramatic wish fulfillment.

By far, the hottest ticket at this year's Toronto International Film Festival is for "Death of a President," a fictional drama filmed like a retrospective documentary about the hypothetical assassination of President George W. Bush in 2007 and its two-year aftermath.

That's not to say that even in this anti-Bush political climate that the bulk of North Americans would actually like to see the man assassinated. Most people would be content to just shout "yo momma" jokes at him for a while and maybe give him a shake or two. But with the decline in popularity of voodoo dolls and the difficulty in getting the proper level of dimness on his likeness on one's GW punching bag, this is just easy way to let off some steam.
