Currently in HELL: Quentin Tarantino

I have not seen Tarantino's latest film Grindhouse just yet. Tarantino is a 'hot' and 'cold' talent. You can take him with a grain of salt and enjoy his unique lens, or be offended by his movies, or by some of things that roll off his tongue at a moment's notice. Was Pulp Fiction his finest hour, does he have another cult hit in him that can breakthrough with mainstream appeal? If early returns are any indication, Grindhouse isn't it.

Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez's double-feature Grindhouse tumbled in its second weekend to No. 10 with $4.2-million, down a steep 63 per cent.
With Tarantino back in the box-office spotlight, I thought it would be cool to take a closer look at Tarantino the person, the promoter, and film director.

Let's go back in time a bit. Here is Tarantino getting into a verbal scuffle with a San Francisco movie reviewer, and handles himself extremely well under hostile questioning.

In this video Tarantino talks about the importance of characterization, and how improvisation plays a key role in his writing process.

Tarantino the Grindhouse promoter.

And last but definitely not least, Tarantino the foot fetishist.
