Countdown to Snoop

Snoop.bmpTomorrow night, I'm going to see Snoop Dogg (featuring Ice Cube), with local opening act Belly.

Apparently, according to the Ottawa Citizen, Belly is aptly named.

What do you think it means to feature a rapper? Does that mean he's the warmup act? If so, that's a bit of a comedown for Ice, and maybe should point out to him that making movies like "Are We There Yet?" is a bad idea.

Or, do you think it means that Ice is taking the role of Dr Dre (and every other guest rapper) in many of Snoop's songs? After all, it's tough to think of a classic Snoop song without a guest. And, Ice Cube was in NWA with Dre. And I guess he's more impressive than DJ Yella or The D.O.C. (Who IS that?)

Anyway, we're guessing that Belly starts at 7:30, Snoop starts around 9, and I'm missing the last bus home. Oh, and that the accoustics in a hockey arena are going to truly suck. But really? Does it matter?

I didn't think so.
