Bye bye bye, Lou

I try to stick to movies and celebrities on here, but some news is just too good to pass up.

Lou Pearlman, the guy responsible for the formation of the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and O-Town, was sentenced to 25 years in prison today for stealing what amounted to over $300 million from investors and generally just being an all-around horrible person.

Seriously. It's too complicated to get into here, but I guess cheating people out of money - including all those famous bandmates - came as easily to him as eating. Just read his Wikipedia page for the very, very juicy details.

It's kind of bittersweet, because I remember watching him on Making the Band when I was younger and thinking he seemed like an O.K. guy. Wait, did I just admit to watching Making the Band?
