But will we get a video this time?

Remember Hollywood writer/director David O. Russell? Let's look back briefly at some of his accomplishments:

-He got into a fistfight with George Clooney on the set of Three Kings because, according to Clooney, he was verbally torturing and physically harming the crew. Clooney called it "the worst experience of my life."

-He literally put director Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins) in a headlock at a party after hearing that Jude Law wanted to do The Prestige instead of I Heart Huckabees.

-He threw an exceedingly profane, occasionally violent, absolutely hilarious hissy fit at Lily Tomlin during the shooting of Huckabees, made especially famous by YouTube. Check out the poor production assistant cowering in the right corner:

Russell strikes again!

On the set of his new film Nailed, the director got into a fight with Caan, apparently over a scene in which Caan, who plays a fictional Speaker of the House, chokes to death on a cookie. Russell told Caan to cough; Caan said he didn't think someone would cough while choking to death...and things escalated from there, resulting in Caan walking off the set and quitting the film. They're recasting the role now.

As we all collectively cross our fingers, hoping a video will be leaked showing the Russell/Caan face-off, we have to wonder: was it Caan's fault this time? I mean, maybe -- heh, just kidding. Russell is obviously a spastic jerk.
