Britney Spears - BLACKOUT

Due to internet leaks, Britney Spear's new album, titled BLACKOUT initially slated for a November release has been pushed up. On October 30th, her new dance album which is actually getting a good review, will be out.

Well, brace yourself for the biggest shock yet: Blackout — a collection of well-produced, thoroughly enjoyable dance songs — may just put this once-celebrated pop star back on top.

There is a Boycott Britney thing going on at Myspace, asking people to not buy the new album to give Britney a lesson. Whatever. I think that's a little over the top for me. I know and heard of worse people than Britney Spears. Although I'm one of those people who have been hard towards her actions lately, I can name celebrities in Hollywood who are famous for doing absolutely nothing at all. At least Britney is working. A lot of people worked on this new album. Not just Britney. People make money out of her so this Boycott thing is damn stupid in my opinion. All the bad news, war, wild fires that are going on these days, I have better things to do than boycott an album. Besides, if there is anything in this world Britney knows how to do, and do well, that's to make good dance music studio album. So HELL yeah, I'd buy it, much to my husband's chagrined but I don't care. It can't be worse than all the growling and screaming from the Metal songs I've been listening to for years. HEHE! Besides, I have all of Britney's albums. I'm not about to lose to the most controversial one yet. Hah!
