Borat and Ali G Have Been Shelved

Sacha Baron Cohen has decided to retire the 2 characters. Meaning he won't be going around town, acting like his famous movie characters for promotional purposes. Aww. It was a good marketing tactic though. My husband and I just recently re-watched it again from a DVD, and was able to watch the special features where in Sacha was still acting like Borat when he was a guest on Night talks shows and attending press junkets. It was really funny and clever. I was wondering how he is in his own house the whole time I was watching him be Borat trying to promote the movie. I guess Sacha felt it's time to retire them and present the world of his own true brilliant self. I'm sure he'll come up with another character someday for a new movie. :)
