Awkward Videos of the Week

Two very awkward videos courtesy of two very different people: Lauren Conrad and Richard Dreyfuss.

Since talk shows are unscripted (unlike The Hills -- ZING!), they're always a reliable source for cringe-worthy moments. Usually, on The View, that comes from the hosts and their political bickering, but this time, they didn't even have to say anything. Richard Dreyfuss appeared on the show to promote W., but instead decides to bash it:

The funniest part of the video is how once Dreyfuss starts criticizing his own movie, none of the hosts have any idea what to say.

The next video's awkwardness also comes from an aging guy who doesn't give a crap, but this time he's the host: David Letterman, interviewing Lauren Conrad. In his trademark passive-aggressive way of insulting the people he's talking to, he basically calls Conrad an idiot and insults her friends while she laughs occasionally and says very little:
