Are Brad & Angelina's twins really worth $15 million?

The asking price for photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's unborn twins has reached $15 million. Only two tabloids are left in the bidding war - People and OK!. (And yes, People is a tabloid.)

You think that's worth it? Well, from a dollar perspective, no. Definitely not. It's for the prestige - a hilarious word when we're talking about photos of celebrity babies, but there it is.

Before you start rushing off to the couple's hideout and taking snapshots of Jolie's uterus while she's sleeping, it might be helpful to know that the idea is for Brad and Angelina to release the photos themselves and then give the money to charity.

Which, I have to admit, is a pretty good silver lining to an otherwise ridiculous bit of news.
