Amy Poehler jumps from SNL to the Not Office Spin-Off

Amy Poehler, who has starred on SNL since 2001, will this fall jump to NBC's Thursday night lineup alongside her Baby Mama and Weekend Update co-star Tina Fey.

Poehler will star in a show originally planned to be a spin-off of The Office. Now, NBC is describing it to be a stand-alone show, but one with similar humor in that it comes from Office creative team Greg Daniels and Michael Schur.

Nobody knows what it's about yet, though.

Aside from the relative success of Baby Mama, Poehler made a splash with a series of skits on SNL in which she impersonated Hillary Clinton during the loooong primary season:
