Adam Lambert Responds to Clay Aiken, Also (Not) Outed by Kara Dioguardi

kara-dioguardi.jpg

A while back, Clay Aiken said Lambert's performance of "Ring of Fire" was "awful" and "slightly frightening," but then apologized for come off so harsh. But Lambert told Access Hollywood on Thursday that "I’m glad he’s getting headlines now though, because he wasn’t before. If he wants to ride my coattails about it, good for him." Hey now. No reason to be mean back.

And in other Lambert news, Kara DioGuardi said recently on The View that "I think [Adam] was always openly out." This is currently being spun in the media (particularly by Entertainment Weekly, a publication which has an annoying habit of trashing people who don't feel the need to answer insipid questions about their sexuality in sound-bite-friendly terms) that she outed him.

Uh, how? I'm pretty sure she was just referencing the simple fact that he is already very obviously gay.
