A Rolling Moss Gathers White Lines

I mean, really? How on earth does Kate Moss still merit being called a "supermodel"? And a well-paid one to boot? I remember seeing that emaciated puss over 15 years ago and thought she was a poster child for African famine relief. Or that Sally Struthers should be arrested for stealing all of Kate's food.

It was quite obvious back then that she was anorexic, a big-time heroin abuser, or both. For years she disappeared off the face of the Earth. However, I guess a few advertisers saw pictures of her eating a whole tuna sandwich and figured she's all hot now (although I'm at a loss to find the Before and After shots that would verify this.)

It turns out that, unlike Drew Barrymore, Kate didn't all of a sudden take her brains out of her ass and put them where they belong. Instead, she just moved up to cocaine. In drug evolution, this is akin to graduating from bottles of Jack Daniels every day to a few bottles of Grolsch. Of course, like alcohol, you still end up bonkers (or, if you get hooked on leisure medication, you end up with a level of intellectual discourse on par with Brooke Shields.)

Anyway, in case you missed it, Kate got photographed doing coke lines with her rocker boyfriend Pete Doherty of a band many of you never heard of anyway. Alas, this isn't Kate's ticket to Hell. No, that place is reserved for all those sponsors who are dropping her like a hot potato immediately after. With all due respect to Dr. Phil, what in the hell were these morons thinking when they signed her in the first place? Seriously, if some dill weed at a London newspaper didn't catch her in the act, would any of these sponsors drop her? Unlikely.

Frankly, I'd love Kate to get some nifty lawyers and slimy rats of her own and stalk the big bosses at these sponsors. It would be great to see how morals clauses apply to their own behavior when vices or, er, "ladies of the evening" come a-calling....
